Two vehicles were involved in the incident, police said. One was being driven by Javier Moctezuma, 20, of Worcester, police said.

On July 3, at about 1:20 a.m., Moctezuma allegedly drove to a Lakeside Avenue basketball court with another car in tandem, and shots were fired from the other vehicle, police said. Moctezuma later returned to the scene of the crime, police said, raising detectives’ suspicions.

After the shooting, the two drivers met up at a Hope Avenue restaurant.

The shooting left Davie Harmon, 21, dead, police said. Another man was shot three times but is expected to live.

Harmon was not connected to any gangs, police said, but the other shooting victim is allegedly a member of the Young Goose/Kilby gang, police said.
